Rain and cloud covered the opening day in the Sea Games 2015 hockey competition but that did not dampen the spirit of the warriors in front of the packed crowd of the Sengkang Hockey Stadium.
Malaysian was too strong for young and inexperienced Singapore. While Myanmar was stubborn to prove a strong test, hold Singapore 1-1. Indonesia suffered in loss against Singapore, 0-1 after a very well worked penalty corner in the very last five minutes of the second half.
