My name is Wisnu Haryo Yudhanto, an Indonesian living in Singapore. Photography is my calling, the one thing that brings me peace of mind.
From my early days of struggling with manual cameras and processing 4×5 negatives in my dark room to my trusted 30 mega pixels full frame mirrorless digital and current use of Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop, my pursuit of new experiences pushes me to continually evolve my vision, while constantly reminding myself of the importance of carrying my gear with passion and curiosity.
I don’t photograph subjects. I photograph the way they make me feel. I don’t just take pictures, I make them. I appreciate the raw reality of everyday life, the fleeting beauty of those in-between moments, and I do my very best to take every picture with that in mind. I want my viewers to relate to my photographs through recognition of and familiarity with the situations, the emotions, and the energy so much that they wonder if they are looking at a picture of someone they know.
